Server Daedalus (web2.gbdns.net) will be rebooted 30/10/2008 at 01:00. This is required for software maintenance, this will take 2-4mins.

All Windows servers will be rebooted after 1:00AM on 24/10/2008. This is required to patch against Microsoft Security Bulletin MS08-067 http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/Bulletin/MS08-067.mspx.

As this update is of a critical nature the reboots are being performed outside of our normal monthly schedule.

We have lost connectivity to Kent Science Park. We are investigating the issue.

This is affecting our core email platform, windows 2008 hosting infrastructure and managed servers customers.

Connectivity has been restored we are awaiting an RFO from the network provider.

This morning between 1:00am and 1:15am all mail servers in our hosting cluster have been updated to SmarterMail v5.5.3216. Downtime was 2mins per mail server.

To complete windows updates Server SGC will be rebooted on 21/10/2008 at 00:30. This will take 3-5mins
