We are currently aware of a Network issue effecting servers in TeleHouse East and Kent Science Park. Please note only servers using the 193.219.118. and 195.74.55. IP Block’s are affected customers on the 91.197.32 ranges are not affected

Outage started at 19:40:53 and ended at 20:07:53 total downtime 27mins

We are awaiting an RFO from our network provider which will be posted when it is received.

To complete various config changes for the removal of server atlantis from production and the need to reboot for windows update Server SGC will be restarted at 00:30, this will take 5-10mins.

Update - 01:00
The reboot was performed at 00:51:43 and the server returned to normal at 00:56:08

To complete the migration to new hardware we will be moving all websites from web2.gbdns.net (atlantis.gbdns.net).

Downtime is expected to be 5-10mins at 01:00.

Update 13/09/2008 02:15
The data transfer took far longer than expected to complete but the migration is now complete. Total website downtime <4mins.

Currently AWStats may not work for some users this will be fixed later on today.

All email services will be stopped for 30mins while all email data and config is moved to a new server.

Once the data is moved the mail servers IP address will be transferred to the new server and all services will be started.

While the mail data and config is copied our secondary and tertiary mail servers will hold all email until service is 100% restored.

Mail Services have been stopped and the copy process is underway.

Update 02:10
Service was returned to normal at 01:45 we needed to restart the server to make sure everything started correctly. Mail delivery levels have returned to normal all email from the backup mail servers has been delivered to user’s inboxes.
