Thursday morning between 00:01-1:00 we will be moving Server SGC from IP-House to Telehouse East Datacenter.

What services will be effected during the outage?
- All websites located on web1.gbdns.net, this is around 55% of customers
- Microsoft SQL Databases
- MySQL Databases
- Helm Control Panel
- Dhosting Helpdesk
- Dhosting Forum

What will not be effected during the outage?
- All email services will be operational both sending and receiving
- All websites on web2.gbdns.net will remain online.

Updates will be posted when the work starts and completes.

Update 00:16 - Server SGC has now been shut down and is being removed from the rack as I type.

Update 00:46 - The server is now back online we will be performing a reboot just to make sure things run smoothly

Update 00:53 - Reboot has completed without any issues, all services are back to normal

There has been a power failure to part of the IP-House data center.

Engineer is on route.

We will post an update shortly.

This will affect Server SGC only not our server in Kent.

Server SGC is currently suffering IIS problems, the only way we believe to solve this is to do a full reboot, this is been completed now.

There has been a major failure of the cooling systems at the Thus owned data facility, iP-House in London Docklands. This has effected all providers within the building.

Temperatures climbed to 67 Degrees C before the cooling system could be restored.

Luckily our server in IP-House was able to withstand the heat and didn’t fail. No Outage was experienced.

The temperature of Server SGC is currently down to 46 Degrees C and should drop to around 41 Degrees C which is our normal operating temperature.

All servers within our Helm Cluster will be rebooted on 15/11/2007 00:30 onwards.

This will take approx 2-3mins per server.

We are completing the reboots so windows updates can be applied.

Our network provider is currently investigating a loss of connectivity to parts of their network.

This they believe is due to a failure in Telehouse East, affecting multiple providers.
